Default Peter's still here and reading avidly!!

I'm sorry that a few people are not happy with the material being supplied by RA. I agree that some of the material is a little out of date and I too have been pushing hard to change this. The RA website Premium Resort Sahl Hasheesh - Egypt* - sahl-hasheesh.com is currently being overhauled and will be re-launched very soon. There is a new e-brochure for Ocean Breeze (launched today) - I will email a copy to anyone who requests it. There will soon be new e-brochures for Palm Beach, El Andalus and Sara's Residence. Greys4U should take a look at Palm Beach Piazza if he thinks there is something wrong with it! It is absolutely beautiful as those owners who have recently visited will testify. I have no problem with people who say 'I can only afford the town centre'; if thats all you have it's better to buy in town than not at all. But don't knock Sahl Hasheesh; anyone who can afford it would buy there and it will be a lot easier to sell in the future than any town centre properties which will always be surrounded by new buildings and new cheaper alternatives.

hi peter im not knocking sahl-hasheesh what my concerns are as in the posts is up to date info. as you have agreed this has not been good anough. As a potential investor i think you will agree its all about confidence and from a 5 star resort i would expect 5 star and more customer service. Some developers are giving monthly reports lots of pictures and written updates online why not add short video clips and a resort alliance forum so that investors can talk to each other sort out problems and then you get total transparancy.

Thats all you need and my concerns are why not?

Default Sahl Hasheesh Forum

I think it has more to do with the fact that not too many people were visiting Hurghada in July and August, even less out in the midday sun taking photos! There have been a lot of visits recently and therefore more pictures. Most owners are happy with progress at Sahl Hasheesh and can testify to the continuity of the personnel involved - unlike some of our competitors where there is not one staff member left from the team who launched their Hurghada projects at the beginning of the year and the company has changed names twice and moved HO from Spain to the UK!!

i thought it was resort alliance that where promoting this site not the goodwill of the investors taking pics and feed back. yes so instead of comming on here slaging off other developments and promoting your own development lets look at the facts . this thread was started by concerns no negative comments where made just questions by potential investors and as you have admitted things could be better.however as ever you always seem to have a biased view ,oh thats right your the agent

I am sorry that you feel that you need to paint such a negative picture; the promoters of Sahl Hasheesh are doing a great job building a superb resort as most people who have bought there will agree (including myself as I have five units all of which are ahead of plan and all have made substantial gains in value since I bought them).
The owners are not complaining; just a few other people who may not be as transparent as I am and may indeed have vested interests in other projects.
Of course there are things that can be improved and those of us close to RA are working hard to improve them; have you considered that RA don't read the forums as they are too busy building a great resort? Are you an owner? Have you been to SH? Are you perhaps a Developer of another project? Why don't you come clean on what qualifies you to make such negative comments?

As anyone who has had direct contact with RA will realise, they are not a large company. As such they likely have limited resources and personnel to indulge in the time consuming business of searching the various forums and responding to individual posts.

It seems extremely unfair to criticise Peter on the basis that he is an agent for RA ,particularly when some of you are agents also, albeit competitors.

Any of you that can put two and two together will realise that I also work indirectly for RA.I was in Sahl Hasheesh and Hurghada at the beginning of
September.

I visited a number of lower priced developments in the Hurghada area as well as Sahl Hasheesh.Frankly the only similarities between them were that all were in Egypt, that is where it ends.
I could name the developments but I won't,they know who they are.All were either surrounded by building sites or were in the middle of nowhere.

What I saw in Sahl Hasheesh was quite different,I saw a very well planned development, obviously being laid out to a definite plan, one which includes shops ,bars/restaraunts and importantly, a medical centre.I also saw a lot of work going on (albeit at Egyptian pace),the whole site was generally tidy and clean.
I saw guests staying in the Pyramisa hotel and the first few owners in Palm Beach Piazza (finished)enjoying the beautiful pool.Another large hotel (whose name I don't remember) looked about to open it's doors.
I noticed the plants all looking greener than they looked in the photos I'd seen. The shop units were beeing glazed and all had been painted, the columns for the sunken city were ready to be put in place.

I saw El Andalus and Ocean Breeze both of which appeared to be coming along nicely, the builders were laying the floor screed in El Andalus at the time I visited.

So what's the score?

Sure SH is more expensive than some other places in Hurghada, the difference is that all the developments I saw were in the city/town of Hurghada or on cheap land on the outskirts. Those in the city generally were surrounded by building sites and wasteground, those outside had few ,if any local amenities.

Resort Alliance may not be as fast as some folk would like, maybe a fair criticism.Investors should however, remember that they are investing in property in Sahl Hasheesh not in the promoters of the development.

I can only speak from my experience and so far I have found them to be perfectly honourable, all comissions have been paid on time etc.
They have committed a substantial budget to their marketing most of which has been in the area of Exhibitions which you may know are very expensive.
I believe RA could use some more office staff and this would help out a lot.

My advice to anyone interested in Sahl Hasheesh take a look for yourself.I know Peter can arrange an inspection trip for you! I'm sure if you ask, he will also show you some of the "cheaper" properties.
If they were so much better (and cheaper) than Sahl Hasheesh you would think they would be easier to sell, funny that eh?

I have some pics from my trip in Sept,I will string them together and post them on Youtube with the other Sahl Hasheesh videos. (if you can't wait ,drop me a line and I'll email them to you!)

Before any of you leap up and say accusingly "he's an agent" let us be clear,I am an agent.

Contact me and I'll show you why Sahl Hasheesh is a better investment.

Thanks,
orosurf

Have purchased an appartment at Palm Beach and El Andalus. Went out to visit in August (yes in that hot sun). Palm Beach was in the final stages of completion and El Andalus on the move. However, there are no facilities there at all. We were under the impression that Palm Beach and facilities would be up and running in line with our three week vacation - NO WAY. So there goes our thoughts of any rental income. That with the lack and price of flights - is this a good investment???
