Default Dont bother with Manta (or Sahl yet) - Look at Regency Towers

Hi there - having just come back from 2 weeks holiday in Egypt (back on 22 June) I spent 5 days viewing developments and bought two apartments in Regency Towers, the resort being developed by Property Hotspots Worldwide. Its well worth a deeper look.

Manta is just too narrow a project with too many properties going on it - and it is going to be situated next to apartments for the local police - that will provide a right eyesore, and whilst you could argue it might be safer, it could also be a target too.......

Sahl Hasheesh is coming on, but seems overpriced and some of the sales messages are very confusing, close to misrepresentation. Magawish is a mess and to be avoided in my opinion as the properties are so close together you cant breathe.

My wife and I also loved the Palma development but wanted something to enjoy and or rent soon so decided on Regency Towers - with british led developers and sales teams it was a pleasure doing business with them. Feel free to contact me if you want any further feedback - this is my first forray into overseas property and we have a kissed a few frogs over the last 6 months looking around, but feel like we have now found our prince and princess with property hotspots and Regency!

Default Regency Towers

Hi All,

We too have recently just purchased a 2 bed at Regency Towers.
Having looked around Hurghada for quite some time, Regency Towers seems to be the best finished property that we have seen. If you just look at some of the other Apartments in Hurghada that are selling for 40K etc you will soon see the benefits that Regency Towers has to offer with better quality and more peace of mind for overseas investors. The property market has increased tenfold in Hurghada over the last 3 years and is currently an excellent choice for overseas investors getting there foot on the market. You can snap up a 1 Bed here from around 27k.

Flights are also quite reasonable when comparing them to other countries and Hurghada offers not only the option of Charter flights but also runs a weekly BA flight on Fridays.

Hurghada also boasts all year round sunshine and is an ideal choice if you decide to split your stay between the UK and Hurghada and have it as a holiday home.

If you want to ask me any question please do so

Happy Investing

My wife and I visited Hurghada in April and looked at several buildings, the finish quality of some of the Egyptian developments was not to European standards.
We then visited The Regency Towers with Alison and Andy, we were impressed by the build and finish of show flat, the building is also well located and within walking distance of bars and restaraunts and a short stroll to the beach.
Alison drove us from El Gouna to Hurghada most days and even invited us to their Villa for drinks. We ended our holiday by buying apartment 101 and have been kept upto date with photos as the project has progressed.
Great to see others buying in the Towers we shall be going out to our apartment for xmas if all is finished on time, maybe we will see some of you there!

Default Sahl Overpriced? I Don't Think So

It is refreshing to get new members of the forum and to hear of new developments which have caught peoples attention. However it is wrong to be too criticaal of other projects because it differs from what suited you.

Sahl Hasheesh is a multi-million pound investment project which will probably be one of the most exclusive resort in Europe or the Middle East. All residential projects will be managed by a five star International hotel company and all projects have their own private beach. The Egyptian government have built a six lane motorway from Hurghada airport directly to the gates of Sahl Hasheesh.

The resort will have seven 18 hole golf courses, a world class marina, shopping centre rivalling Dubai, a casino and multi-screen cinema, its own sunken city for divers and much much more. With front line apartments starting from just 50,000 GBP this is not expensive. Sure you can buy a two bed apartment in Hurghada for half this price but which do you think would be easier to sell or rent out? Also security in Sahl Hasheesh will be paramount. I would certainly feel safer in this environment than in the centre of town and I believe that many others will feel the same - and be prepared to pay a bit extra for that peace of mind.

Making comparisons can often be misleading - centre of town vs Sahl Hasheesh is an entirely different proposition.

Default sahl hasheesh

peter when did yoiu last go to sahl hasheesh, because I live here and go there every week there is no 6 lane motorway leading to sahl hashesh as everty one can clearly see on google earth and by the way will never be a six lane motor way, they dont even build motor ways in cairo, as you can also see on google there are shops on either side of the two lane road with a 60kph speed limit, will they knock down all these newly built shops to create this motor way? I strongly sugest you get your facts right on Sahl hasheesh before you mislead anyone else, i know it is in your best interest to promote this as you personnalt sell 20 apartments a month and earn good commission but don't you think your customers deserve to know the truth?

regards

Andy (alisons husband)

Andy I respect the fact that you live there but it is a fact that the government has built the dual carriageway betweeen Hurghada airport and the gates of Sahl Hasheesh. If you go there every week you must drive on it!

Maybe six lanes is an exaggeration but it is definately two lanes in each direction! My apologies if anyone feels that I have misled them - the fact is that I have visited Sahl Hasheesh 5 times in the past 6 months and I absolutely love what is being done there - there really is nothing else in the area that comes close.

I hope that as an agent in Hurghada your company will soon be selling Sahl Hasheesh alongside your other projects and you will feel as passionately about it as I do.

It's good to know that there are forum members willing to "take to task" agents etc for mis-leading information - glad someone else noted the mistake about 6 lane motorway to Sahl Hasheesh. By the way there is a "real" motorway in Cairo.
