I went on to Travel Supermarket..

If flying to Luxor i got quoted.. £74 return on flightline.co.uk

but normal rates from Gatwick were coming in at the 279 mark to Hurghada.

I fly Flyglobespan from Edin to Spain regularly, in the winter months i get a return for £14 all in, now im up in the 150-200 mark for the same dam flight.

But yeah there is no Easyjet, Jet2, BMI baby etc etc.. that came up in the search..

If you are flying out that many people, mayhap its worth an email to Easyjet (or whoever) to find out their policy.

I am talking to a number of Travel companies at the moment; if I get any joy I'll let you know. I assume you are based in Spain OFS? I'm in Duquesa on the CDS.

I absolutely agree with you; Egyptian people are amongst the nicest people I have ever met - but then I am biased. I too am Egyptian!

My brother sent it to me. I must admit I thought it was our Jewish brothers who have short arms and deep pockets but maybe we all share the same traits....!

Default New & Original Content

It is good to see so much interest being generated in the Red Sea region and to hear the experiences of Investors and Developers alike. However, we are starting to look like a notice board for people wishing to sell properties or an advertising medium for those who have bought to promote the agents who helped them.
Nothing wrong with that up to a point; but we really do need some original content from people with experience of the area to talk about how life is for people living in the Red Sea region; what is there to do, what social life is there, how easy is it to buy the things we are used to or how have people adapted to a different diet and climate.
Of particular interest would be peoples experience of raising mortgages in Egypt or any thoughts about future trands and the way things are changing?
If you have something new to contribute or you can introduce new members to the forum it would be great to hear their news. Please don't stop writing - just not so much advertising 'cos we all get bored with that and we will lose members.

Default An Insight into Property Regulation in Egypt

It was interesting to see the contribution recently by Zeiad Yehia concerning the recent edict from the Egyptian government.
Of course, like so many legal documents it was a bit long winded and confusing and I have written to Zeiad to ask her to kindly provide a summary of the key points and the implications to those of us involved in Development and property investment. It was great to see this type of content from someone living and working in Egypt. Please keep it coming...
