Exclamation Use common sense & sound business practise

Hi
Wherever you consider buying, do your homework.
Its always good to start with the difficult questions to the agent, and make sure you get a direct contact with the owner as well, since your contract will NOT be with the agent.
1. get proof of ownership before paying any deposit
- if any stalling by the agent or owner, or a direct not available
- WALK AWAY
2. do not be "encouraged" into making a quick decision by a "price increase"
3. check out lots of other properties - there a good choice
4. compare like with like - make a list of everything that's included / excluded
5. try lots of forums like this one for real info, not agent views that are disguised (I'm a developer & an agent)
6. be very wary of rental schemes that promise too much
7. if you're considering spending more than £20K make sure that you can cancel at no cost within 8 weeks of signing to give you chance to fly out and have a look for yourself.
8. make sure that the facilities you "need" are guarenteed, not just "likley"
9. ask who is buying these apartments - Germans, Brits, Egyptians, Russians etc
- if you are staying here yourself, or renting to other Brits this could be a big concern
10. as a general rule "buyer beware" times 10 in Egypt

i think you will find the quality on dessert pearl is spot on and is being built to a high spec as this builder has a good repuation in hurghada and is one of the biggist developers in the area. so i do not think theres a problem here but as for others well as we are always saying you need to do your homework before buying

Hi
Ive been busy out and about today with my camera taking lots of photos. So for those out there who have bought on Regency Towers here are up to date pictures from inside some of the apartments that are finished.
I must say i am pleased that the finished apartments are looking fantastic ...there is a big difference between the unfinished one i viewed the other day and the final product. Anybody who has bought here will be very impressed by the quality.
