I think you're right Taite but in that case this is maybe not the best forum for him. He's confusing rather than helping which hopefully is not his intention.

I was inside it a couple of days ago and it is looking really nice.

The developer is quite a big mover and shaker in Hurghada and this is a bit of a vanity project for him. He wants it to be the best development in the town and this is more important to him than cutting corners to make a little bit extra.

The marble floors were just going into one of the units while I was there - looking very nice.

A new phase there just went on sale a couple of weeks ago.

A the start of the year, immediately after the price rise in January, the development looked a little expensive. However, with prices at all other developments having risen over the past six months, Hurghada Dreams is looking like a good deal again as prices are not too dissimilar to those in El Kawser which doesn't benefit from the sea views or proximity to the beach.

They also announced a Guaranteed Rental Scheme there a couple of months back - 5% for the first two years and 10% for the following three, I believe.

Hi.
I note that the forum is exceptionally quiet of late. Has anyone got any recent news on the developement. With so few postings in can't just be holidays causing it.

There are some pictures avaiable at Construction Updates: Hurghada Dreams in Hurghada, Egypt | Sun Homes Overseas Ltd - International property specialists
Deadline by my contract is December 2008 and by watching this pictures I doubt they will finish in time. Original contract I got haven't had late delivery penalties included by I requsted and got 1,5% monthly up to 2 months. It's better than nothing

Hi
My development is not far away from here so I can confirm that the pics on the website are accurate for late August. The fact that there is still external building work to be done it would seem unlikely that all will be ready by end of December.

However it is also clear that one side is almost complete and that some interiors are looking well finished off, especially liked the bathroom fitting, so there is some good news.

Because of Ramadan it was difficult to tell if work for in progress or not but I passed here several times over the last 2 weeks and did not see much activity on the outside.
