Transport could be a concern.

I've been considering land on the outskirts of Hurghada but it looks to me that unless the potential owners are happy to hire cars then the "market" could be quite limited for some time yet since Taxis and "public transport" may not be as convenient as in town areas.

Looks like the people who have already invested in Egypt i'd say the majority are happy with their investments. Then we have the people who Haven't yet been to Egypt but however still invested in property i'm sure they will be happy too.
As long as their development is finished to a good european standard and is in a fair location wether they like Egypt or not when they visit, they will surely make a good profit if they decide to sell on completion. So at the moment it would seem egypt is definately a must, however this may not last too much longer with prices increasing at least twice a year.

| must be one of the few that have got the keys to my apartment, we signed over last june and have been twice, also my Mother and Father have had a week there too. We can't wait to go back in April.

We found it was alot better than we expected. We absolutely love it, and Hurghada is a fantastic place, the local's are very helpful too.

SO THUMB'S UP FOR HURGHADA.

it all sounds very positive and provided we are not looking for short term profits we can only have everything to look forward to including our retirements ! The only regret we have is not finding this forum when we first set out on our adventure because we have learnt so much since joining.

Glad its been a help! We didn't know what to expect when we started and I suspect that back in the beginning most of the members were agents but that has certainly changed now and we have a real 'buzz' on so many different subjects and its brilliant to see new members joining almost daily. Lets keep it going! At this rate we'll all love Egypt so much we will all be living there!! Who knows, monthly forum meetings in downtown Hurghada?
