I have seen a few different statements regarding price increases from January, however I didn't take much notice of which developments they were,I think quite a few will try it no doubt.

better to have the mosque than say a large fast food outlet with the food smells all the time and litter better to have a good looking well kept clean mosque that is quiet 90% of the time and why buy in a foreign country any way if you do not want to take in there culture why not stay in the uk buy some where in Blackpool at five times the price next to there promenade with the freezing whether filthy cold seas and kiss me quick hats and drunken louts starting fights and being sick in your door way

Well said jeremy,I agree with you, there are a few people who are first to criticise Egypt in its current state, however they are first there to make money out of the situation. You are quite right anybody who doesn't like Egypt should invest elsewhere.

Anyone who doesn't like to see or hear the Mosque should consider buying in one of the large 'sanitized' resorts like Sahl where you don't have to mix with the locals. Egypt, like the rest of the Middle East, is predominantly Muslim and Mosques are part of the culture.
Forgive me for asking but wasn't the reason for people wanting to travel to see how other people live?!!

The only problem being near a mosque is getting woken up by the call to prayer early in the morning. Still if you time your return from a night out on the town for around 6am you should be in bed with no problems

Hi SHO,

Lol,if you are early risers then it's ok,I don't think there would be any other issue here apart from maybe being woke a bit earlier than expected.
There are a lot of mosques in Egypt and so far the hotels I have stayed in I have never heard the call for prayer unless i've been out and about.

hi Dave 99 yes there is a road next to the village complex but if you want to travel around Egypt you will have to use them

prices at the Marlion Residences are going up by 20% next year

1st price increase of 10% in place for March 2008.
2nd price increase of further 10% in place for July 2008.
Excellent ‘Buy 2 Sell’ opportunity as value will increase by 20% in first year of investment.

MAY BE prices will go up by this amount; this is a ruse by Developers to get potential buyers to commit early!

Let us never forget that if you want to buy somewhere without Mosques or petrol stations for neighbours you can always pay double the price in Sahl Hasheesh! Please PM me for more details.

Alternatively the Bedouins have it sussed; they put up big tents in the desert and cuddle up to a smelly camel!!
