Hi Lynn and Ryan.

Welcome to the forum. Its lovely to hear from yet another Sharmer that has bought on Sierra. You may have been confused ( as I was ) about a rumour of the hotels in Sharm charging owners £150 per month to check buyers clients in and out of the hotel resort. This appears to be that, a rumour and Zeiad will fight our corner if anything materialises. So basically nothing to worry about.

Congratulations on your purchase. We have bought 40A2 which is the phase in front of you.

What do you need to know??

Regards

Alison

Regards

I used a set-up just off Bayswater road for notarisation ans then weakened and let them do the whole thing as I was quite busy. Cost breakdown was £60 + Vat for notarisation (they needed passport and also a utility bill to prove address) £ 80 + Vat for courrier to Foreign and commonwealth office and Egyptian Embassy. Stamp charges for Commonwealth office and Egyptian embassy £ 20 + £27 so total £ 211.50.

For anyone interested in London area Notaries were Soni & Co in Inverness Mews, they are also in Staines, Gants Hill and Fenchurch Street. London Notaries - Legal Services - Translation Services - Soni & Co Notaries They seem to be set up for this kind of work. Will take two days.

So if you are prepared to run around yourself you save £ 80 + Vat with these ones but I thought of the waiting time fares/parking fines and paid!

Iain

Hi Lynn and Ryan,

We are Iain + Joanna (Jo) and in another phase adjacent to you - we are in 22A12.

Also believe our appt at tiling and bathroom stage so getting close but not sure of final date. We are also probably going to go for a furniture pack for ease and conformity if we let out at all. We are probably one step behind you so can't offer too much help but will be watching for all info!

Iain

Hi Lyn and Ryan we have been told ours will be ready end of April or May and is also at tiling stage. We are flying out on the 7th June. If you are hoping to use your apartment then I would suggest that you email SRE or Tarek the developer and ask if it will definately be ready for you to use when you arrive on the 5th. If you need the developers email address let me know.
You can always book a cheap hotel for the 1st night or 2 until you get sorted.
