Hi People,

I'm back ,Ok to clear this up a little bit there are a lot of current developments that have this type of problem with water and it isn't in any certain area although next to this developemnt behind the bowling alley there was another large development with the same problem. However as I said earlier it is not a major issue as some people think it may be,so no need to worry.

Hi wghosh,

Well they started building sulederand dp1 about feb 07 I believe,Foundatins were obviously laid before then,The foundations are just been laid here as we saw yesterday for coral so if they are going to have dp1 finished for end of March All I can say make your own mind up regarding that timescale.
The builder does have other developments which will also be starting around the same time.

Here are the pictures Ive taken today in the afternoon just to show the start of the construction.

You can see that the " SWIMMING POOL " as its become known recently has begun to be filled with concrete but no re-bar to be seen and what looks like a very shallow foundation. Not what Ive been accustomed to seeing here in Hurghada.

But without influencing anyone ill let the pictures speak for themselves i hope you enjoy them.
as im buying there and as a matter of interest, what is re-bar???

I visited the Coral Sea Pearl site with a builder client of mine today. He was shocked that they just appear to be pouring concrete to fill up the pool of sea water that has been reported on the site. He felt that they should have been piling the site and building firm foundations not just pouring concrete. Do we have any more builders on here who can comment?

I told you I am not a builder; I am meeting with Mohamed from El Riad tomorrow morning so I will ask him how they are dealing with the problem and hopefully this will put everyones mind at rest. We don't deal with Coral Sea Pearl quite simply because we have selected our portfolio and it wasn't included.
