why pay extra.. no one is saying this.. it pays to get independent advice though. Do you really know what youare signing.. lots of bias towards vendor in contracts. i was quoting figures mentioned for separate legal conveyancinf completion

No I bought 2 years ago in Oasis1, through Iraida off plan recieved my apartment last june. They did all the legal stuff and offered us the registration too but would have been extra for registration.
When we bought in 2006 they gave us contracts in both english and arabic, I did try and get advise from another solicator in this country but had no joy they were not up on arabic law, now things have changed and a few solicators deal with this but charge. Peter has a number for one in London if this helps.

Hi Richard and welcome to the forum. I have a fab Egyptian lawyer who I highly recommend. His English is spot on and he really knows his stuff. PM me if you want his email address - he also responds very quickly - but saying that there are probs with Internet connection at the moment because 2 cables were cut in the med and this has affectly about 70% of Egypts internet connection and could take up to 15 days to fully restore.

Default current m2 price for this development

how much is this development currently selling for now? . have pre release prices ceased? what are the forcasts for this development once completed in 09 ie what is the price per m2 now and then?

maybe agents could answer these questions

Prior to the time that I placed a reservation, I had read the marketing material which stated that free legals would be provided on the condition you paid 40% of the contract value upfront. I even had this confirmed by one of WWD's agents. However, after having paid the reservation WWD has said that this offer only applies to the first 100 buyers. Having done a second check of the brochures, there is no such qualification stating this.

It is actually very annoying that this was not disclosed until this stage and so contrary to the package they have advertised to entice (and mislead) buyers. So I may need Queenie's tip on a good Egyptian lawyer!

i agree , this is bad .. this sort of thing gets my back up.. its blatent lies..

i have been assured free legals but im starting to wonder. its abismal..

does anyone know what the commercial area contains and where the gyim is going to be.. our studio is next to the commercial area ..

also the bar ..i take it it is to be staffed?

very good ..wish i had the money to buy something bigger.

this development looks very good value for money despite its administration!!

location is great , will rent well and we have a show complex next door to check on the investment.. im over there 26th feb so ill be seeing it for myself
