Hi Paul.

This is a point that I have raised with the developer. I feel that is fair that we are given say 30 days after reserving the apartment so that the lawyers can go through the finer details of the contract. Until this point the £2,000 should be refundable, this is normally standard practice.

They have taken this point on board and will let us know what tyhey have decided.

Ok, cheers. Does everyone have their own lawyers/solicitors sorted yet as this is something I have'nt even thought about yet. I don't even know where to start.

Hello Paul - may I suggest Zeiad, our 'resident' lawyer who comes highly recommended by several members of the forum.

http://www.totallyproperty.com/egypt...rty-egypt.html

I know that Alison for one, has used him and has nothing but good things to say about him.

Do I need to be in touch with him now or is there plenty of time for that?

Just to let everyone know taht I met Stuart and some of the team from E-I at the Excell centre, London on Sunday for the Place in the sun exhibition.
Stuart showed me a few WMP files of about 5min long each of the site.

I must say I was very impressed. The horse shoe shaped builing is extremley large and has alot more space for the pool/gardens then the photos posted on the forum show.

The view is great looking out to the beach and sea!
As regards to choosing a unit Stuart Stuart said that we will all recieve emails and a link to the CGI of the resort. We then have a few days to look and make decisions and then, in the email is a date and timescale that we are allocated to then log in and reserve your chosen unit.
I think we have roughly two days from recieving the email/link to your alloctaed time slot to choose.
Whoever is number one on the reservation list is a lucky bugger!

Things hopefully should be up and running sometime this week.
