Hi Nick,

Personally I agree with you it would be better to buy a few properties rather than 1 for the same price.
For many reasons anybody doing this would benefit in a number of ways and also reduce any risk if there is any.

As working is not an easy option in Egypt, building up a small property portfolio is a good way of building up a small income which could provide a living for someone planning to retire to Egypt.

It would certainly be a wise move.
I really think now is the time if anybody is thinking of this route as property is still reasonably priced compared to anywhere else in the world.

Hi People,

Has anyone got any info regarding the Pyramids 2 development I believe prices are to start from £15000.
I thin this would be a fair price for Hurghada, anybody seen anything that they would say is better value then this development.

Egypt Real | Pyramids 2 Resort | Overview

I must say that I am not a huge fan of this development, even though prices are cheap.

Personally I would either go for beachfront out of Hurghada centre, or non-beachfront in Hurghada.

Non-beachfront outside Hurghada just doesn't excite me very much as there's no scarcity value.

Yes it is opposite the Regency Beach (thanks to RedSeaFurniture for telling us exactly where it was as I wasn't sure before his map)

You can get a 38m2 studio at Pyramids 2 for GBP17,800 (non-beachfront), or a 40m2 studio at Regency Beach (beachfront) for GBP20,000.

I know which one I think is the better deal. And 42 people agree with me, according to the developer as of yesterday, as this is how many people have made reservations so far, even though they only started building there 3 weeks ago.

Oasis Resort is also competing against Pyramids 2 as it is next door (non-beachfront again).

Prices there are similar to Pyramids 2, starting from a small one-bed of 35m2 for GBP17,494.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you too!

Oasis Resort is expensive at 500 GBP per m2! Compare this with 350 GBP per m2 at Sara's Residence this is a fantastic 30% difference. Is it worth the premium?
