When you look at it like that Peter i'd personally have to go with Sara's.
There is quite a big difference here, one well worth thinking about.

It comes down to greed again. I don't know Oasis but for it to be worth 30% more than Sara's the spec would have to be amazing! I guess it has gold plated taps and a 'Goblin Teasmade' in every unit!!!

You are right it is greed seems to be spreading slowly but surely.
I know there are a lot of people still find these prices attractive but shortly I can see that disappearing.
There is a silly amount of money being made by the developers, why would you want to spoil that?. It's beyond me.

Doesn't really stack up with Regency Beach opposite it is the same price and it's first line.

Sadly, I think that only a small percentage of investors take the time to research each market and development carefully. The visitors to this board are definitely not a cross-section of the overseas property buying market.

Oasis is definitely not a terrible deal - I just don't think it's as good as Regency Beach. I am sure that investors will still see a good return over the years - but not quite as good as Regency Beach.

For every one investor putting his money into the Red Sea, there are probably still another ten putting their money into the Black Sea.

When it comes to the great casino of overseas property speculation, I would definitely be putting all my chips on Red instead of Black!

Not the same at all they are front line beach five star resort communities and they will always command a premium. Serrenia prices will start at around 3000 GBP per m2 but people who buy in Serrenia would never buy in downtown or Hurghada. Horses for courses; we were comparing similar projects in the centre of town which is a different thing altogether.

The building is closed as it's the best part of 40 years old now. I guess that they are going to refurbish it.

This is the best area in Hurghada. The View, which I liked very much, is the only beachfront development going on in this part of town and it must be a terribly expensive project to build as the land rises so rapidly from the sea that they have to create terraces.

Best of the available plots though is one right next to the Intercontinental, which is being developed by a company that you know very well, Peter. They say that they should start selling it in Q1 2008. It certainly won't be cheap, but it looks like the best piece of land in Hurghada available to developers at this current moment.
hi just bought your gide to hurghada but has not got the hurghada village on it have you any thoughts on the place and also the same peaple are building on the side of the hill on the bend on cournish road
