I spoke with the UK lawyers this morning - new contracts are being issued as the complex will now be finished within 24 months (instead of 30), the annual maintenance charge has been reduced to £7.50 per m2 (from £10 per m2), and the apartment spec is being upgraded.

It's almost a year since I first put down a deposit - though I pulled out months ago. It does seem an excessive amount of time to wait.

It is looking like I will have to do the same. It is taking too long. Initially at the beginning of this year my apartment was scheduled to be finished late 2009... now its looking more like mid 2011 if at all.
