All contributions are appreciated, but only true statements we have enough rumors flying around.

Good to have you on board, have you bought in RB?

Hi TTM,

We're very careful about any possible libellous statements on Totallyproperty but I know your contributions on MSE were not of that nature and were very helpful.

Welcome.

All i can say is i bought somewhere else and if i would of believed everything i read on here and pulled out of my purchase i would now be gutted!! Take it from me all the stress is worth it in the end!!

Hi J@y I have had to delete your link because of legal reasons. The link is a blog full of rumours and not fact.

Hi All

Having now purchased one of Regency Development can i ask what anyone is hoping to achieve by slating this company?

I do not know Andy Harris but he was forthcoming with answers for all questions.

They have delivered good quality builds....buyers are happy.

Has anyone who has bought in Egypt looked deep into the developers background. I don't think so. Especially foreign developers.

Finaly ...Buyers have a choice.... continue or pull out....Whatever anyones decision after all this ...there is a choice. Off plan is a gamble.

Cheers

Hiya Randall,

I'm genuinely happy that you've now found a development that's right for you but there's been a lot going around about PHW and Andy in particular that may or may not be true. We've been extremely careful on this forum not to let members post anything that could be libellous and Andy has posted several times stating his opinions etc. Some members now feel it's right that they should voice their concerns, and providing they don't just post unsubstantiated rumours, it's fair that they should do so. On the one hand we shouldn't - and don't - allow viscious rumours intended to damage reputations and on the other, members should be allowed to ask questions and discuss their concerns. The mods are being very careful, as is Bob, to delete anything (when we are notified) that can't be backed up or is intended to cause hurt or damage or is aggressive.
Not everything is purely rumour and a number of buyers on this forum have pulled out. For myself, if I'd have happily carried on with a purchase on any development only to find out too late, that any problems were kept secret, I'd then be wondering (amongst other things !) what the purpose of the forum was.
I'm not saying that anyone should pull out but we should have our concerns addressed so that we can all make up our own minds. I've stated before, and I'll do so again, I hope that all Regency developments are a huge success. For me, the risk was too high. I honestly wish you every success with Heights - it looks as though it'll be stunning.

Hi Lsab

Thanks for the reply.

I could understand everyones concern if this was a first development... People would be silly not to pull out then.

This company have obviously made a lot of money from their first development and have bought land very cheap to build elsewhere ..especialy at Regency Heights.

So if they deliver what they promise and carry on doing the same they are going to make a fortune.

If all the land is legal...the builds are good quality...purchasers are happy..what is the relevance of a director from years ago...surely it's the present that is relevant now.....Has anyone got any information of dodgy dealings in Egypt..apart from the double selling...which was addressed ..........because thats where we are buying.

Cheers
