thanks Wayne, yeah i realise the cap is the max it could go up by for maintenance but not necessarily that it will!

thanks for clarifying the point about 'leasehold without tenure', okies

lol, im not sure i could afford another property to go halves on I mean. i gotta see if i can get the mortgage for the Marsa Alam appt first. Coral Sea does look nice and if i can, may invest too. i know i gotta be quick. Neil has sent me the availability today with prices so will give it some serious thought. Ive never been to Eqypt actually and like you am looking more for an investment, though im sure i will take a break there when the appartments are completed.

I better get off to bed now i guess, thanks for your pointers

Chris

you are most welcome.. hope your financial quandries are sorted out...

sometimes u just gotta go for something like this i was in the shower with shampoo in my eyes when neil 1st rang offered me an apt for 21k but we didnt have the money the full 21k that is.. this was a real knock down price.. the one we plumped for was 21800.. now slightly reduced again to 19800... so doing the maths and ala the man from delmonte we say yes... i think neil would be 1st to agree .. he lets the apartments sell themselves.. not once did i hear any sales patter fromhim... another guy recently took the plunge upon speaking to me.. maybe you could sleep on it and go for it ... these really are vfm as they say ......

Good Morning all,
Just letting you know we have decided not to purchase our apartment in CSP, but have purchased one in DP2 instead. You are not getting rid of us that easy, we will be overlooking your beautiful pool area (on the 1st floor).
Hope you will all say Hi when you pass. Hopefully the Pearl communities will intergrate and we could go on a pub crawl between them!
Regards

Sue & Gordon

Morning Sue - was there anything in particular that made you change your mind?

What did you go for in the end - studio, 1 bed, 2 bed?

Regards

Alison

Hi Alison,

We had a few issues with our apartment, although the questions were answered quickly and our agent was very helpful, there wasn't much of a compromise. we think the one we have now at DP2 is a better buy for us and its still a studio.
Regards
Sue

Hi Sue - good luck with your new studio. Have you been given a handover date at all yet.

Hi All, im investing in a 2 bed room in Marsa Alam against their developers mortgage. I have gone for this choice as potentially it may alllow me to afford to purchase a studio. I would really like to let my parents to have somewhere they could go for holidays in the future. I must admit with so many developments its difficult to decide where to invest.

I want something as an investment but am not sure what would appeal from a rental point of view. I saw the details for Eqypt Pearl yesterday and although not too dissimilar to Coral Pearl, the looking outwards image didnt look as attractive, though seems to be in a good area. Lotus Breeze looks nice but then somebody mentionned the dual carriage way, Pearl Vista and Desert Pearl look nice. I must admit i do look for style too. I like appartments that look exotic, maybe im thinking with my heart and not my head.
