Give them a chance to put things right, if in a couple of months nothing has been done then start to shout.

Come on you are all going to be neighbours and you nearly have your keys, don't spoil it all now please.
Well said Neil !!

NEIL,i understand what you saying, but if you have contacted your developer.ie WWD and they are not interested in these problems, please advise us on what one must do.The lawyer is impossible to get hold of,so this is the only alternative,by keeping other people informed, hopefully so they can benifit from other peoples problems.

I don't mean to sound rude but you only seem to pick on EVERYTHING, try not to "stress" so much, Perhaps you shouldn't have bought in Egypt, You probably paid about the same as I did for mine and my car cost more that what we have paid, The Security guard probably will not just be stuck in his hut he will patrol the area and who says there will only be one? Why do people worry so much before anything has happened, Put things into perspective:for very little money we have a property that is going up in value and when the whole resort is finished it should be worth loads, If there is a problem with the paint or the grouting I will do it myself or pay a little egyptian man very little to do it for me, I am going to enjoy mine and not moan about anything til it happens, I think it is embaressing for somebody to moan all the time about everything
Have you not been out yourself to check your apartment?

Yes I have been out there, there were a few problems , only small ones, but I sorted them whilst I was there cos there are people still on site and they were more than happy to help ! I just asked them nicely ! can't complain, sorry I know you all want me to but I can't. Things do get sorted even if there are things wrong, there are always people around willing and able to help. It's not the end of the world and it really does look lovely.

To be fair to WWD they jumped as soon as I reported some issues which came to light from someone else snagging my apartment. They immediately had them sorted out, but I havent been able to double check it actually got done.

I will be popping out for a "peace of mind" visit on June 13th, just for the weekend so as not to lose money at work (I'm a contractor)... I'll be the one wandering around trying to hunt out the decent bars.
