She (and we) only stick it in the chat thread if it goes off topic . Your post is definately on topic! I have to agree with you about some of the posts. I think that people need to feel they're able to post their concerns without being driven away. At the same time Neil's advice is always good and freely given. As I've said before this is an excellent thread and I hope that, when the time comes, the purchasers of the development I'm buying on will give the same kind of support to each other.....though I hope we won't need it

There is nothing I can do now I have told you all how I feel what you do now is your business.
I'm working tonight so I will answer any PM messages when I get chance please don't think I'm ignoring you if I don’t reply this evening.

Good luck Alan
Isnt it a shame that someone feels they cannot post their info, problems and things they have found to be the case in their own circumstances because of peoples differing attitudes. PD and the other unfortunates are not having a go at us just relating their own experiences and we can choose to ignore them or be advised whatever! but we all have a free choice of how we act on some of this info. This Forum was, i think, intended to give people an arena to swap information and air their personal viewpoints and like it or not each person is entitled to their say. To those who have found nothing but happiness and contentment with their purchase good luck (i hope i am joining your club) however there are people on here that have experienced problems i hope you get sorted but i thank you for your input as well. I find out my truths shortly and the reaction of WWD to any points i may raise. I will not go out there expecting Dresden 1945 nor will i expect shangri la but i go with a open mind bouyed by lovely photos and reports yet guarded a little by people that have had problems, and their experience of what they have done about it. I hope that WWD live up to my expectations and that i i have a great time and get loads done and shedded regularly to boot.
Lets stop getting irate at each other and accept that viewpoints and experiences differ but we should never get to the stage where people feel too intimidated to post.

I didn' t want to make it personal but I look on this forum when I am "having a moment" and feeling excited and looking forward to going there and all I ever see is complaints, and especially from Picasso divers. I want to see good things as well about our apartments , yes I am laid back about it all cos I have spent alot of time in Egypt and at very good hotels and even there the finishes leave a little to be desired. I enter into a country with an open mind and try to go with the flow of that particular culture, there is nothing worse than in my opinion when we go to a country and try to change things into our way of thinking, I am buying in Egypt because I like the fact that it is so laid back and when I have visited I can completely switch off my stresses, I don't want to offend anybody but some good things to say please !!! Neils pictures look fab and my Egyptian friend says the same , all good , anything that is wong can be put right and I'm sure will be put right, I just don't understand all of the negativity.
Sancho, I`m sure you did`nt want/intend to make it personal and I don`t find at all that` picasso divers `complain especially.( as you have stated)

There are observations posted, by people that have been out there to see for themselves and then pass their comments on ,for the benefit of those of us ,who haven`t yet been out there (me being one of them)
I don`t think anyone is trying `to change things into our way of thinking`...that`s a whole new topic is it not...and nothing to do with the build/finish of our apartments. What is though,is that whether negative or positive the findings of some purchasers (inclusive of photographic evidence) is there for us to see and how we`view` it is up to the individual. I welcome all of the posts as where else would we get to see the development taking shape. I for one am glad to see all the feedback and are happy to be kept updated with the good bad or indifferent. Until I go out there myself i can`t comment on the `finish`of my purchase. I`m grateful to all the people that have taken photos showing the brilliant to the not so and I hope that people with any problems (including myself) will hopefully get them rectified soon.

Regards

Hi Dunny69,
When I was over there at Christmas I took some pics of places people might want to go to. The pub you might be looking for is the Siva Pub, almost directly in front of DP on the main drag. Look for the big footy boot and ball! The third one was taken from about the same place, looking back towards DP. The last one just looks lovely and reminds me why I want to be over there again soon.

sweet dreams all!

cheers
