I have done a fair bit of research both through this forum and the internet in general and this development seems to be very popular with few problems encountered. Has anyone had any problems which if known about before purchasing might have put them off? Also does anyone know a good company to approach if i was interested in purchasing here?

Although we are still in the very early stages of purchasing a property on this development, everything does seem to be in order so far. The only query we did have was regarding what appears to be a spare plot of land directly in front of the front line villa apartments, I have spoken with both Zeiad (lawyer) and Peter Mitry (Real estate agent) regarding this, check the legal thread, and both have assured me that this land will only be used for semi-permanent beach bars etc. and will not obscure the sea view at all. I am going to request this is included in the contract, for our own peace of mind/protection. If you are in the UK google the Oasis Marina Hurghada and you will find a few UK based real estate agents that are selling these apartments. Alternatively, you could message Peter Mitry, he is very helpful, and he will put you in touch with an agent in your country. I have copied some details regarding this development below. Sorry to go over old ground, but can someone clarify whether you can take 25% discount & still opt into guaranteed 8% rental?

Reason for asking this again, is I asked this question of agent today, & was told its one or the other. So have things changed since previous posts?

Just now I spoke to Peter Mitry in Hurghada. You can go for both 25% discount and 5 years rental guarantee. You can contact Iraida herself in Hughada ( get contact details from www. oasismarina.net) after 12pm (Egyptian time). She wrote me an email confirming the same.
As far as I know it applies to beach front villas only

With the 25% discount you still have the 8% gurantee for 5 years when you take the option turn key flat but if you take it just finished you will not have it and this info 100% sure

I did have some photos but unfortunately my computer bit the dust and I lost them all.
