Default Back from DP1

OK guys abit of an update on DP1 just arrived back after an extended stay.

Went for the week but after being told apartment was ready (and it was far from) i stayed on another week.

Initially I was fuming with everything but then realized that no point in losing rag so I informed the site guys Jeff/Tony I am staying till it was done.

Well Tony was a great help and got my apartment upto scratch.(Including most of the snagging)

Now put in my own furniture and happy enough except for one big problem!!

After doing all this and legal paperwork with United Lawyers I expected my keys, WWD informed Yasser on site that they had not had my money from LAM Finance after verbally informing me ( Keith accounts WWD) saying it was all sorted and they would email bk confirmation.

I also had the contract from LAM in my hands and showed Yasser.

I paid £400 to setup the finance and my first payment was due 4/4 and I said no probs in paying if someone can confirm in writing that WWD had had the money. (To date no response from anyone in what is going on)

What a surprise to here that LAM are just a collection company for WWD and no money changes hands (all weird)

So my point is this I will sort this issue either direct or through lawyers has I have never been so stresssed at the under handedness of all parties.

Maintance to be paid straight away on a unfinished project (where is gym etc)

All abit strange but like I said on the DP site all getting sorted if not on time (where is the penalty clause for late completion on WWD side?)

But has for the office side of things nobody has any idea and will never have has all staff are being sacked or leaving.

My main thing to everyone is if not happy keep on at WWD and you will get joy.

Now moving out at end of the month to live so they have 3 weeks to get there act together with the finance side and stop passing the buck to each other.

Yes I saw it on Sky but didn't realise who they were. Dreadful news.

Are you picking up your keys from the lawyers? When do your arrive?

Sarah
Hello again Sarah,
I'm arriving afternoon of 13th from Birmingham Airport (only one week unfortunatly) but will be going back for longer later on. Not sure about keys yet although it will probably be from lawyers or from Jackie McIntosh who is doing the inventory for me(having the furniture pack from Delise design) I'm in B401, where abouts are you? Can't wait myself as I do love Egypt and keep going back there, usually to Luxor.

Hi Simon,
Well said matey(don't know were I got Andy from in my earlier post)...as I said I am sure we will all be happy when everything is finished and will have good value for the money.

Best wishes
Alan

Hello Sarah,

I have been told by Nina at Delise and Jackie McIintosh that all should be complete by the time I go on the 13th June. Hopefully that will be the case
Email from Nina on 19th April said that they were on schedule to complete Instalation of Blocks A,B,C,K,L,and J by mid May, so I am hopefull.
Are you also having the furniture package?

Alan

Hello Sarah,

Lets hope all goes to plan and there are few problems when we get there....keep seeing the photo updates from people and can't wait to see it for myself. I was in Hurghada last June and November and it is brilliant...blue seas and sunshine... have you been out there yet?

Alan
