You are not being made to look stupid as you only do your best and if you are let down by the people who promise things to your face and then dont deliver how can that be your fault. I dont blame your feelings and wouldnt blame you if you backed off and left us swimming in DP limbo but hang in there mate as you have useful knowledge and contacts which we need. WWD need to let people know what is going on and answer the accusations being levelled at them by their own outside agencies and show a bit of respect and consideration for their customers.
Believe me Neil you are not the only one feeling stupid and whose patience is wearing thin, because having spent a load of money on a dream we dont even have a piece of paper or anything to say we own jack.

Don't worry dunny i still intend to help out people that have bought as i have several of my own clients, just not sure if there will be any future clients. However if this is all sorted out and they get back on an even keel then i will stay with them. Lets see what happens today

Ps: Thank you for you comments, good to hear all my efforts (and grey hairs) are not wasted

Please read letter below regarding the current situation at WWD, an additional letter will be produced and sent to all WWD agents later on today. I will also post a copy of this additional letter.

We understand that Mohamed Refaat of United Lawyers in Hurghada May have sent you an email stating that he is acting on behalf of a Power Of Attorney signed by Sean Woodhall in his favour, and that he is the only legal representative of Worldwide Destinations in Egypt.

All Power of Attorneys in favour of Mr Refaat were cancelled at the end of 2007 and he has no legal right to address these issues or speak on behalf of Worldwide Destinations or any of its companies.

Our Lawyers in Cairo are presently addressing this as a matter of urgency and we will provide you with an update shortly.

In the meantime we would strongly advise that you ignore any advise that you have received from United Lawyers, and would like to take this opportunity to again confirm to you again that Worldwide Destinations will continue with all the developments previously planned and the company have in place the personnel and funding to continue to prosper.

Thank you for the information this may allay some of the fears we as purchasers have especially as we understand this is a very difficult time for the company and you do mention all your developments so perhaps you could explain to me why I have never received a receipt from WWD for the monies I paid in Full for my studio at DP2 so I could get the free legal service you offered also I haven't received a new plan of the remodelled kitchen to view and lastly who will be dealing with the purchase of my apartment. for me. I would just like to add that these issues have been outstanding for some time before the tragic event occured
I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter and thank you in advance for your help.
Regards
Susan Bell

Default re wwd

I have just this minuite had a phone call from Hannah at WWD confiming that the below is correct and that UL have no grounds to state what they have and so basically are attempting to scam people. I hope my faith in Hannah and her fantastic professionalism is not tarnished as i doubt it will be. Please all relax until WWD sort with own law firm next week. Remember it is Friday and Egyptians do not work so early next week an update will be sourced. I hold no responsibility if this statement shows to be untrue. But i will wait and see till next week.

Yes i agree there are other problems but for myself as selfish as it sounds the main issue of ownership is my only worry?? but i do empathise with all other concerns that poeple quiet rightly and openly voice on here as this is what the forum is for. It is a shame that sometimes some others have got a little heated towards other members who only request the same info but in a calmer state like yourself you have aired some points in a straight forward but inofensive way.
