New members (and not so new!) might find the following information of use. Instead of trawling through pages of threads we’ve listed those most requested. Just click on the links below:
This will direct you to the calendar which, amongst other useful dates, e.g public holidays in Egypt, events etc, will tell you when any members are in Egypt so that you can arrange to meet: http://www.totallyproperty.com/calendar.php
This thread is becoming very popular as many members are at the stage of furnishing their apartments or considering whether or not to buy furniture packs from the developer: http://www.totallyproperty.com/egypt...-egypt-24.html
The main forum tends to be more focused on property and the developments but while the Egyptian lounge started as a place for general chat it’s become invaluable for general information with threads on everything from where to shop and eat, to golf courses and cheap flights. If there’s anything you can’t find or if you need help finding your way around the forum please feel free to ask one of the moderators:
Where to find threads on property management services
Hi to our moderators.
Can you please guide me as to where I can find info on property managment services. I'm interested in knowing whether I should use the property management services of the developer, or I should find my own agent. I've tried to find some threads, but haven't been successful so far.
May be you can add links (if any) in the intro section
Is there any way I can quickly access just the threads I am interested in and check on a regular basis? have a 'favourites' list?
I also used to get emails when a new post was written but seem to have lost the facility!

Hi Leila,
You can do this. Towards the top of each thread there is a menu called "Thread Tools". If you click on this you will see a few options including "Subscribe to this thread". You can then choose to be sent email notifications here.
You can view all your subscriptions in the control panel - link at the top left of the screen or click this link. You can then use your subscriptions list in the same way as a favourites list.
Regards
Bob
