Default Gold Sharm Residence

Hi All

Just joined. I have bought a property in Sharm at Gold Sharm. It is supposed to be finished but the developers are not communicating.

I would be interested to hear from any one who knows anything about Gold Sharm or chat with others who have invested.

We fly out at the end of June and fingers crossed will have an apartment to stay in. Just in case if anyone can reccommend cheap accommodation close to the development I would be verygrateful to hear form you.

Thanks in advance

...sorry meant to have said that we got a good deal at Tropicana Rosetta on Peace road more or less opposite Hilton Fayrouz in Naama for £8 per night each b n b. This is not too far from Gold Sharm. We booked with Freedom Direct for the hotel.

Hi Bailey - have you heard anymore from your developer or agent. Any news on completion date and did you book a hotel?

Queenie

thanks for coming back to me. I am waiting for another investor to return. She is out there now and hopefully in her apartment. I think I would have heard if not, so I keep my fingers crossed. I am holding off making any bookings until I hear. I was worried about getting transport from the airport in the early hours of the morning, but found a site which you can book a private car for as little as £8.50 for two people. I dont mind grabbing a taxi, but at thattime in the morning it allows a little peace of mind. I found it via travelsupermarket so hope it is reliable and share it here for others.

I am as yet unable to post URLS but it is tranferstore with a com

I will update you as soon as I hear.

Take care

Default Gold Sharm Update

Bad news I am afraid. My friend did not bring good tidings and did not stay in her own apartment as hoped, or even on the site. There is still a long way to go. The promises are still being made, but nothing is coming forth. I am being very limited in my comments as I fear I may have to go legal. You mentioned the furniture, yes it was beautiful wasn't it. Shame no one got any of it and from what I hear its all the same and available from Argos - low end. She will email shortly with some photos and I will invite her on board. meanwhile I have booked the Amar Sina, which was a fantastic deal and works location wise.

Hi Bailey - I have heard some things as well.

I have found another company that will do airport transfers for £5 per car each way. See http://www.totallyproperty.com/egypt...tes-sharm.html

Look forward to the pics.
