Hi Everyone,

I am 37 years old been with Alan since we were 15 and we have been married for 8 years with one son 11. I work fulltime as a manager within a Welfare to Work Progamme challenging long term unemployed back into work . My husband works in the Home Office within criminal records department. My son is a budding goalkeeper, having recently met with Ray Clemence and the england team of goalkeepers. So hopefully if he makes a pro, he will buy me lots of property in Egypt.
My love for Egypt started when i was 9 and i completed a school project in primary school. I went to Cairo for my 21st birthday, pyramids, museum etc and enjoyed so much. Having spent 17 years in the travel business only leaving following the 9/11 attacks in 2001, i watched the red sea riviera pop onto the map.
3 years ago we visited Sharm for a week holiday, then the following year a week , then a fortnight and last November we visited Marsa Alam for 2 weeks. It was then, lying in the sun in November that we decided to buy a place and following 6 weeks worth of researching i am about to fly to Hurghada 25th January and hopefully buy here. Sharm is where we love, but the 99 year lease puts me off, so Hurgada it is..... Then maybe Marsa too..!!
So thanks to everyone on the forum, i have read all the threads and it has been a big help.
So maybe we can join the Hurghada Party soon......:> )

Hello Everyone,

I have placed a few posts on here now so just incase anyone is wondering where i popped up from. I am 37 years old, married and have a 5 year old daughter and live in the South West although i am originally from Manchester. After spending 19 years in the Royal Air Force, travelling around the world and living in various countries, I developed an interest in the idea of buying property for investment or lifestyle. After carrying out some research I found it extremely difficult to find impartial advice and didn’t really know where to start with buying overseas. I wanted someone to hand hold me through the whole process and provide me with a property that fitted my requirements and not someone who was just interested in selling me a property that made them the most money! In 2005 I decided to leave the RAF and managed to secure a job selling overseas property, in fact I was fortunate to be involved with setting up a new overseas property business within an established estate agency. Although I was doing something I enjoyed I still wasn’t able to provide clients with the service that I feel passionate about. It was this that led me to setting up Rivermead Global Property. I can now offer clients as much time and assistance as they need and provide the level of service that I would want for myself. Customer satisfaction is our primary focus and I am proud that clients refer their colleagues, personal friends and family to me. I believe that this is the best form of customer feedback and testament to the way we do business.

Regards,

Neil
