I know I have put on an introduction before but I thought it was about time I updated my information.

I have now lived in Hurghada for 3 months and really enjoying my new life in the sun.

I have recently started a new job working for an Egyptian/British developer and although I am still finding my feet I'm really enjoying it.

I hope to be back on the forum a lot more now hopefully we can get some good healthy discussions going.

It would be great to hear more from you Lyndsay. Best of luck with the new job, I'm sure you'll do well.

Hi Lyndsay and welcome back to the forum. Hard to believe you've been there for 3 months already, time flies when you're having fun

Glad to hear you have a new job sorted out. Are you still planning to live in the Oasis Resort once it's completed?

Hi all,

I am Charlie 35 yrears old. Originally I was brought up just outside Glasgow, but have now lived half of my life in Fife. Dalgety Bay to be exact.

I am married to the wonderful Carolyne and we have one son Lewis who is nine years old. We love the great outdoors and cycle, and fly kites a lot.

I work for the Tourist Board in Scotland, and have managed various contact centres throughout Scotland and Ireland.

One of the things that attracted me toward sEgypt is my sons love of the country, I have also been facinated by its charms for many years. I have actually yet to visit the country as we tend to holiday in Spain for convenience. This is all set to change however.........

I am looking forward to getting to know more of you over the coming months/ years

Charlie

Thanks Suzi

No, we have decided not to live in Oasis Resort, it's just too far out at the moment. We have bought a large apartment in El Kawser from an Egyptian developer and should move in within the next week. Hoping to sell Oasis Resort.

Hi Charlie and Carolyne, welcome both of you to the forum. If you have any questions there will be many members here that will be more than happy to answer them and if you have any problems finding your way around the forum please feel free to ask either Alison (queenie40something) or myself. Alison is in Egypt at the moment - Sharm - enjoying her recently purchased apartment and as I've yet to buy in Egypt, my only qualification now for being a mod on this forum is that I'm married to an Egyptian and have lived in Arabic countries on and off, for the past 20 years . We're currently based in Bahrain but will be on the move again before too much longer.

Hopefully we'll buy a property there in the not too distant future

Best wishes
Linda

Default Hi to all

Hello to all who use this forum,
We are Gary and Emma we have purchased a 2 bed apartment in Hurghada after going on holiday there in September 2006 and loving it. Our apartment will be ready in a few months and hopefully we will be using it as much as possible. Hopefully the flights will be a bit cheaper by then!!
We discovered this forum whilst looking at pictures of Hurghada on Google and found it very helpful.
Look forward chatting to you all soon.

Hello Gary and Emma, welcome to you both and thanks for the introduction. On which development is your apartment? Is it one that we already cover or one for which we'll need to start a new thread ?

We look forward to hearing more.
Best wishes
Linda
