So sorry to hear about your breakup It may be a good idea to keep your property if you can until its built and CSP also, I think you would make a lot more money on it if you sell then. Hopefully it wont come to it and you'll have fantastic holidays down Hurghada way.

Desert pearl 2 is a building site but coming on a treat now there is alot of workers on site that sleep there too.

Oh good, glad to hear its coming along nicely. Im thinking thinking of flying out nearer completion, maybe february time, any idea what the weather is like as ive heard it might be a little cold and windy!!

I was there in Feb last year and it was lovely. However I was there in April this year_it was cloudy at times, the wind blew for 3 days or more, it was cold in the shade and at night. I wished I had heating in the flat. I took one sweatshirt and practically lived in it, day and night! so what happened to always hot and sunny!! The boats coudn't go out, couldn't scuba, some boats moored nearby the Meridien were sunk! global warming (or cooling??) perhaps?

The weather if Feb is just starting to warm up, so if your lucky you will not need a jumber at night. Day time weather is like a really good summer back in the UK.

Thank you Alison, Just thought I would try and get some news, thoughts, pictures,opinions etc... for this development now as it seems to be fairing well and construction is well underway from some of the pictures I've seen.
Hopefully some of the DP1 purchasers will keep us up to date by replying to this Topic for us.
