Default Khamsin Beach

hi everyone,

i have been hearing a lot of buzz lately about Khamsin Beach Resort. just wanted to hear what all of you out there thought of it?

does it sound like a good investment opportunity?
who are the developers? do they have a good track record?

Hi Lukewd,

Welcome to the forum.

I haven't heard of it I'm afraid - and I don't think anyone here has mentioned it to my knowledge. Where is it? Hurghada? Sharm?

Best wishes

Linda

Hi and welcome. This one is in the quieter Arabia district and prices start from £20,000. I think there are 2 developments - gardens and beach. I read that pre launch is around £15,000 which sounds really good and the apartments on the western section of the beach resort also come with free air con and furniture so cant be bad. In the central section they are giving 50% disc on air con and furniture. I think phase 2 is scheduled for completion May 2011.
Dont know who the developer is though. But at those prices could be worth a look.

You continue to amaze me with your knowledge, you are correct in your description and quotes for frre A/C, furniture etc... El Riad are the builders.

Hope this helps.

The lowest prices are GBP18,908, but these units include free furniture and aircon and so, for comparitive purposes, it's roughly the same as buying a GBP15,000 apartment and having to buy the aircon and furniture seperately.

Hi Lukewd,

Yes it was I who posted Khamsin in the for sale section as pointed out by queenie, if there's any more info you need to know please just let me know. We have quite a flow on new property, some waiting for due diligence or questions.

Our new site shoud be up and running very soon with all the details of this and other new launches in the general Hurghada area.

I will highlight outstanding or missing due diligence where applicable.

As just a general observation, I have seen several instances where the marketing is too far ahead of the detail for our investors need to make good investment decisions. Where there are areas our due diligence form is not complete we will highlight these to investors up front. Obviously reservation fees in these cases, and others, need to be 100% refundable to give you time to get independently checked. We recommend all buyers use a lawyer covered by the UK law society but also to be mindful on how best to manage your lawyer.

hope this helps a little,

Lance
