I think that this should change over time - I have high hopes for the new Senzo Mall in Magawish that is due to open in the summer. For the moment though, I can't wait until I visit Cairo in a month's time as people tell me that it's the only real option when it comes to buying things.
OHHHHH ou should be careful in shopping in cairo will spend lot of money

Does anyone know if there are Spinneys or Carrefours in Egypt, if so, where?

There will be a Carrefour going up right in the middle of Al-Ahyaa - within 10 minutes walking distance of Regency Beach, Oasis Resort, Pyramids 2, Water House, Marina D'or, Palma Resort, etc.

This should be the sign that Al-Ahyaa is really going to be a new hotspot. Companies like Carrefour don't spend multi-millions on building hypermarkets unless they are sure that an area is really going to take off in a big way.

Any idea when the Carrefour in Al-Ahyaa is likely to be completed?

Hi Queenie

I had heard that it was going to be at the opposite side of hurghada in Al-Ahyaa. I thought it was going to be next door to us in Oasis Resort.

Nick, any ideas?
