I paid about £40 for the receiver and about £10 to have it connected to the dish and tuned in. My agent arranged the satellite man to do it for me.

Here in El Gouna we have a cable which costs around two quid a month. There are many channels in different languages and at least 13 English channels with four 24 hour movie channels, BBC Prime, Animal Planet, etc. and........................Live Wimbledon tennis on art3 (in English ) Sadly strawberry season has finished here but the cherries have started and are so sweet

Hi Georgina

That site is completely in Arabic and I couldn't see a button to convert it to english.

Can anyone get this or is it just in El Gouna?

Thanks

Lyndsay

Hi Lyndsay,

If you click on 'Customer Zone' then on the next screen, top left, you will see 'English' click that and voila

Yes I have a slingbox and works perfectly, I get all Sky programs through on a 4 to 5 second delay from the set up in my UK house, Apart from the basic price £150 inc set up, I don't need to pay anything else.
I bought some patch leads and now can watch on my TV in the villa.
Who needs dishes?

I looked into getting a Slingbox over a year ago but thought I'd wait until they were really up and running. So you've had no problems at all? I think I might have another look!
