It looks as though you could buy as many cars as you like but how do you get around the licensing and registering problem (legally)?

Buying a car in Egypt is no problem, it's the registration process that is a nightmare, I recomend hiring a lawyer who specialises in these proceedures, or like I did, buy through official dealer and they will help you with all the paperwork, I changed my car in February and VW agents Easyway were marvelous, they have a great guy who is expert at getting to the front of large crowds waiting at windows, quite entertaining really and it helped pass the time, as it took 3 days to sort the buying and selling out, including a 15min interview with the security police. Incidently, depreciation is very low, I lost £600 in two years on a new car with 12k on the clock!
