When are you planning to come out next Wayne? It would be good to meet you. From next month onwards I will be in Egypt 70 -80% of the time.

Peter

My work including long haul cabin crew has luckily enabled me to travel to many wonderful and exotic places around the world. Having no children yet we try to holiday as much as we can and aim to evetually move away from the rat race in the UK! My parents and friends have property abroad and i really wanted to jump on the band wagon and own my own "bolt hole" outside of the uk.
So one day, whilst shopping on the internet, (as us women do) I came accross The Desert Pearl 2 development. Having been to sharm before and loved it and knowing how popular the red sea was becoming with toursits i could not resist the competitive prices for a studio. So, without going out there, i trusted my gut instinct and brought it there and then. To this day i still havent been out there and cannot stress enough how informative this forum has been to me. I now realise i was taking a major risk but by going on all what i've read on here i'm so glad i took the chance.
Hi, Claire,
Similiar story again here. Originally wanted to buy in Dubai, 'but missed the boat', pricewise, Looked at other M.E/N.A.. countries, Morroco, Turkey, etc, but realized, like you, Egypt has so much to offer, both in terms of price, and well, everything really. Never been to Egypt either, but feel I know the area so well now, thro this forum. Complete on my studio in DP1 next week, this will be my 1st visit.
Regards, Vix.

When visiting any forum you can see on the opening page how many members are 'online' at that particular time. There are always many visitors who are 'looking in' to decide whether the forum has anything to offer them.
If any of you have been following this forum for any length of time you will know that we have a lot to offer; not least of all the invaluable advice from those who have already 'taken the plunge'. So why delay any longer? Sign up to join our community and maybe we will all meet up in Hurghada (or Sharm Queenie!) very soon.

We are just waiting for our apartment to be ready, then we will be over. Don't know yet when that will be.

Me too - I'm sorry to say that we haven't had time to go yet and won't get time until after the summer. We bought on Regency Beach and like you, have found the advice and comments here invaluable. Of course we should have gone before buying but we didn't want to miss out
