About 20 of us went out last night on a boat trip and it was excellent. Once we all had a few drinks we went in swimming, amazing how warm the water was. It was like floating in the bath. A bit scary not being able to see what was also in the water with us!!!!!

Sounds like fun. How are you settling in Lyndsay? Must try and meet up with you all at some point. Are you still having the monthly get togethers?

Hi Margaret

Really enjoying it. We are not really having monthly meetings but there is a pub quiz every Sunday night in the Winking Frog and most of the residents are at it.

Last week there was over 60 people here, really good night.

But hard work the the poor soul who was hosting her first quiz and was hoping for an easier introduction to it! It was good fun tho' and the boat trip was BRILLIANT, I've never swum in deep water before, can't believe it was so lovely and warm either. we HAVE to do it again. Helen

Haven't heard from you in a while. It was nice to meet you too. We are out there on December 8th for a week, I think we just miss each other, don't we? Anyway when are you out there again.

Shame I'm going to miss you, I go back 5ht Dec, if they let me on the plane with this stupid 30 day charter rule.Am going on another boat trip this time from Seagull in Sekalla on Tue, snorkelling and food 8am to 5.30pm for 120LE, will let you know if it's any good. Have been promised another late night boat trip for my birthday in March. Helen

Can anybody explain this ruling on flights please? I am a bit confused about it.

I am flying out on the 5th November with Flyglobespan (hopefully) on a one way ticket. I have been back in Egypt since the 5th September. I think Flyglobespan are a scheduled airline.

The ruling is that you have to get a scheduled flight if you have been in the country for more than 3 months, you will only have been in Egypt for 2 months, it appears that Globespan are scheduled so either way you should be OK.
