Thanks - A bit of both to be honest, will be using them for lots of hols and renting out when we're not there to help towards costs. Hoping to sell one of them in about 5 years time when I have 2 kids to get through University!!!! Other one will continue to be used for holidays and lets.

Having not been I would like to build a picture of what a week in Hurghada would consist of for the average tourist and what kind of budget would be needed. Also how does Egypt copmare to other destinations - can a comparison be made. Great forum any feedback would be welcome.

Welcome to the forum PWOOD8, like you we have purchased a studio in DP2 and like you we have never been to Egypt either, but I'll be very interested to see what kind of replies you get regarding your questions.
Regards
Sue

Default Football

Has anyone who has visited the development and explored the local clubs pubs and restaurants found anywhere that will show the footy especially the champions league 23 Apr and onwards. Last year we watched Man U Porto in Nama Bay (spelt it wrong aint I) will Hurghada match the sophisticated Sharm. See you in the final Wayne and like Coral Pearl Rubble you will come second (lol loads) (set me in concrete would ya, ya little rodent)

Quote Hi Jules
I have a top floor apartment 452..and as far as i know they are for everyone...if not you can use mine anytime you like...i was planning the exact same thing a nce bottle of chilled wine ...you could see the sea from the top of mine but there is another apartment block going up soon...but you would'nt see it at night anyway.. and maybe not after a bottle of wine.?.The guy next to me is from America and will only be there ocasionaly....wish i were going now weather is ideal this time of year..
kazzer

Hi kazzer,
I find I tend to see much clearer after a bottle of wine.Or think I do anyway!Long way to fall if I'm wrong!!!Thanks for the offer of the use of your roof.I dare say we will find out all the little details when we get there. As for the weather being perfect now....I guess you're right, although I would rather go about June time myself. We have got into the habit of going away every May(as its Alex's birthday) and November,as it splits the year up nicely. We are also a bit limited to those dates as we run a pub/restaurant and have to avoid busy times.
Getting a bit concerned how close we are to going now.4 weeks tomorrow....Have somehow put on quite a bit of weight in the last year or so.Managed to get into most of my usual hol stuff last november(just!)but need to find time to get a whole new wardrobe this time.Whats worse is I dont really enjoy clothes shopping!!!Unusual I know. Will just go to Primark and fiil a trolley with the first things I see I think.
Must get ready for work now.
Jules*
