Here is the Marsa thread http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...arsa-alam.html this one also includes Marsa http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...arsa-alam.html or could be this one http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...nderstand.html - there was something in the legal thread about not buying in Dahab from memory I believe it was because of land issues and ownership with the Bediouns.
Here is the page form the legal thread http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...y-egypt-4.html

Hi Andy

Thanks for the advice. I guess for someone who has not as yet been out there it's difficult to judge it. (of course only a trip will tell me for sure)
Some of the resort developments look fantastic and of course i would expect things to be a bit like a building site in the early stages. Just wondering if it is a good place to take children ? Is there much to do outside the resorts ? Are the facilities in the resorts going to be up to scratch ?
It sounds like you are happy with your apartment which is good and with Hurghada itself.
Anyone know where i can get some recent pics of Hurghada town ?

Jon

Just be careful about those bronzed bodies! depends on whom they belong to!! those beautiful, young egyptians will soon be expressing their undying love (personal experience!!)

We found a really good taxi driver who spoke good English and didn't think he was a formula 1 driver! He took me shopping quite a few times and came into the shops and translated for me. I have his mobile number so let me know if you want it when you go out there he was really good.
