Sorry Dawn, I just assumed you'd know - no reason why you should though!! We live in Bahrain - myself, husband (who's Egyptian) and 15 year old son. We've lived in the Gulf for the last 15 years on and off. While everyone on the forum is looking forward to leaving the Uk for holidays in Egypt I can't wait to get back to Wales for the summer!!

Hi, I didn't know where Bahrain is. We would eventually like to spend 6 months of the year in Egypt (the cold months of England), but I really couldn't up and leave England altogether unless all of our family up and left. I do like England, I just don't like the rain and short days. Wales is a lovely place too, been their along time ago, can't remember where abouts we stayed though LOL. It must be really nice in the gulf though.
Dawn -x-

My PC was fried after the power flicked off for a few seconds and totally messed up my Outlook. I ended up having to have Windows reinstalled.

In Arabic

So everything reads from right to left now.

It's annoying the hell out of me.

If anyone knows how to fix it, I'd really love to know.

Hi Vix - how are you?
Bahrain seems to have every bank holiday possible! This time it was for May day.

Have you set your keyboard to English settings? Otherwise try reinstalling Windows, if that doesn't work I'm lost

Hi Isab, fine thanx, looking foward to a week in Egypt, not sure how I will cope with the heat tho. We are so spoilt here that the only time you feel it is if you get out of a car on the road side, every where else has the most superb air conditioning, its actually quite cool in some places. Was in the Mall of the Emirates y/day and had to wear a jacket!!!! Vix

I know what you mean Vix - when we're in Wales in the summer, I feel the heat much more than here! Like Dubai, even the smallest shop has a/c. For someone like me who really doesn't like the heat, I keep away from Egypt until later in the year. Hope you have a great time though!!

Hi, they couldn't fix mine because it fried the mother board. So have had to order a new one. Didn't want to buy another mother board because I had mine a few years and for what it would cost to be fixed, I might of brought a new one anyway. Didn't need this at the moment. lol
