As I said, the main thing is that our deposit is safe for another day.

cheers,

Dont worry about the boat dock. I had a scare myself last wednesday - 2 hours (really !) after I'd wired the considerable 6 figure sum for the boat to the seller I had a call from the Marina people to say the boat was sinking. Its now in dry dock being mended. They say the best days of a boat owners life are the day he bought it and the day he sold it - i didnt even get to enjoy the day of purchase. - thankfully its not too serious but would have been if it hadnt been spotted.

Why dont you consider a Phase 5 white villa. I think there are a couple for sale. My villa is in the same phase and I love the quiet location and mountain views. Probably be better value than Hill villas also.

All the best

Jeremy

Only found out this afternoon. But we will get it back from them no problem.

Jeremy,

What can I say??? Just as well there are some observant people around.

We are a bit stuck on the Hill Villas at the moment but if it doesn't come off then we will have to look again at other areas in El Gouna.

Margaret

Hi, has anyone got a flat to rent in Sharm? last week of July/first week August? just for a week, for 2 people, can be a little flexible on dates.
Can't find any cheap flights from Gatwick to Hurghada or Sharm, best so far easyjet to Sharm £436 or thereabouts. any suggestions?

Default schools in laguna

He is now 15 and taking his GCSEs next year but though the schools here in Bahrain are excellent, he wants to go back to the UK to take his A levels. I told you that I have a friend who works in El Gouna school - she teaches Biology - and her son is almost 15 too. She's been very pleased with the education that he's received there but she will also return to the UK so that he can take his A levels. Is your son in year 10? If so, is it not possible for you to wait until he finishes year 11? I think it would be extremely hard for him to transfer in the middle of GCSEs - I doubt that he would be able to take the same subjects as he's taking now.

After you've made a few more posts on the forum you will then be able to use the private messaging system and I will ask my friend if I can give you her phone number so that you can talk to her inshaAllah.

Best wishes
Linda
WA alaykum a salaam, my son read your message and he was very happy, this is exactly what he told me, enchaallah he will be in year 10 from next September, and he tried to convince me not move until he finishes his GCSEs and it will come A level and then University,,, god help us to take the right decision inshaallah, i am lost at the moment but it is clearer than before. thank you
