Congratulations George! Not been on the forum for a few days so only just seen your post. Olivia Sabry has a nice 'ring' about it; what do you think?

Morning George,

Have a look at this website for baby's names - though it might make it even harder to choose as there's thousands of them

Baby Names - Cool - by gurgle

It gives everything from classic names (like Elizabeth) to quirky (something different like Willow), Irish names (which are beautiful and spelt differently to the way they sound) and Welsh (I always used to love the name Rhyannon). There's celebrity names and thousands of others. The nice thing is that they give the meaning of each one. You and your wife might enjoy looking through it.

OK George if your wife would like a new name why not invent one? 'Aivilo' sounds nice - thats 'Olivia' spelt backwards!

Hi George when is the little one due - you said April or Aug?? I assume you mean this August - Amy was born 23rd Aug and her name means beloved - loved. Her middle name is Louise which means warrior - she is a fighter LOL.

The worst thing about AD is its very very limited property units to buy or rent.
We speak Arabic and lived in Kuwait, Malaysia, Canada(halifax, montreal, and calgary), Qatar, Jordan and London (minimum 3 years in each country, but we're not that old). So, we're quite acclimatised in +50 to -50 C climates.

I am also considering buying in RAK, every says it's the next Dubai and there's a pressure always not to miss the boat. But not sure if I can afford it, maybe in the future (if it's not too late).

Hi, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dubai, but like you, there are many who dont. Now is the right time to buy in RAK Many of the off plan properties are allready sold. What a contrast Bashir, Montreal weather, versus the Middle East. I also lived in Jordan when I first married.

...and we lived in Kuwait when we were first married! Plus the U.S for a short while and Saudi for a year. I lved in several other countries before marriage too. Maybe we should start a thread listing the countries all the members have lived in - we'd probably cover the globe!

Sorry Alison - I'll move us up to chat soon!
