Thought that might be the reason because Zeiad always responds really quickly. There was another member on here the other day that appeared to have sent it to the old address as well and was wondering why he had not responded. Let us know if he responds to your email sent to the correct address. I will bump his email change thread. I did change it on his legal threads and added the link a couple of days ago as well.

I have been receiving email from Zeiad OK, it sometimes takes him a little while to respond. I think he's very busy at the moment, and we just have to be patient.

(Difficult, I know, when you're excited about buying a property )

That's a shame Margaret. Oh well, maybe another time. We stayed at the Movenpick in Luxor a few years ago for a couple of nights and was quite impressed with it, hence choosing it for this holiday. Although, I have to say that all the hotels we have stayed in when on holiday in Egypt have been beautiful. I hope your move goes well, lucky you, hopefully the weather will be good to you on your return to the UK

Thanks,
Never thought I would say this but I don't mind too much if the weather isn't all that great when we go home because we have sunshine here all year.

Margaret

I doubt you neighbours would agree with you. I should be going back to the UK about the same time as you. I will be in El Gouna from the 1st June and I will stay to get the house in order and then head off to London and Glasgow. I should think it will definitely be raining in Glasgow!!!

I think you're right about Glasgow - lucky you! That's why I said just over our house...wouldn't wish a lousy summer on the neighbours

You can his posts and replies on either of the legal procedures threads on the site (may be under egyptian lounge) I cannot quote for him obviously but I believe an average figure is about £500 UK. I also believe at least one of the site moderators has used his services as well try http://www.totallyproperty.com/egypt...-new-post.html his name is Zeiad
Cheers

We have just appointed Zeiad for our purchase at the Oasis Marina. He charges £500 GBP for his services, solicitors in the UK charge around £2,500! We are charged £110 for a UK Notary Public to sign our PoA and a further £47to the Foreign commonwealth and Egyptian consulate for verfication purposes. Even with the postage charges to return the PoA back to Sharm, it is still considerably cheaper than UK solicitor fees. Zeiad has come highly recommended and I am confident he will serve us well throughout our buying process.
