Default Where 'does' all the water come from?

Was just reading your post Georgina and it's something I've often wondered about myself, where does all the water come from??? On the subject of too many beds in Egypt, the connection can be made if, like us, you have a waterbed! LOL

As in most desert areas, there are a vast amount of natural springs. Jordan for example, has such a good supply of natural spring water that it supplies Eilat in Southern Israel, and also Iraq. Most of the water in the Sinai is pumped from the Nile, Egypt has the largest pumping station in the world.

Hi Alison have a great holiday; its roasting in Hurghada and I am sure that Sharm is the same. Say Hi to Elaine for me; I think she met Tarek yesterday so I hope that he can help her.

Really, I wondered why they where so expensive to buy in the UK. I was going to buy cheapo ones from Ikea, but will now buy local in Hurghada.
