Yes I bought the sunbed in El Gouna. I looked in Hurghada but there weren't as many furniture shops as there are now. They were quoting prices for teak ones which were really expensive. I had a choice between soft wood and hard wood. I chose which ever was the cheapest. Bought it from the shop near Garo's snack stop (Thomas). I even went to the carpenter to have them made but he quoted me the same price as buying from Thomas. I spoke to Customer Services to check it was OK to have an umbrella put up where I wanted it and they arranged the umbrella and windbreak for me.

Maybe in the new constructions at West Golf they will be installing a few umbrellas anyway for everyone to use? Check nearer completion. I think they did this at Upper Nubia. It is nice to have your own to use whenever you want to.

Mine is on Rihana lagoon.

There is a new member called Sanchez who is living in El Gouna as well and thinks he knows you x

Talking sunbeds & parasols, I think Iraida are supplying them on the beach and around pool areas, so I just won't bother buying our own. Hope the patio furniture stay's put on the terrace though!

Just back from London, spent 4 hours in the legalisation office and only 15 mins in the egyptian embassy.

My cases have been repacked 4 times in as many days, I think I just have my sausages and bacon to go in tomorrow evening.

It has come round so quickly that I haven't had time to be nervous, I was more nervous a few weeks ago. It'll probably hit me tomorrow.

I'll still have the same email address and I'll still be on the forum but no-where near as much, hence why I stood down as a moderator.

Just can't wait to get there now
