Don't worry there is a pork butchers in Sherry Street in Sakkala! Not sure where you can buy wine yet though; I think there is a vineyard in El Gouna. anyone know about this?

Hic. Oh yes They make the Shirazade wine there and Luxor beer. Cheers is the free delivery service. Not sure if they cover Hurghada but their number is 19131 from a mobile operating 10am to 10pm. The deliver all brands of beer and wine and Shirazade is LE39 a bottle.

The cheapest place to buy cases of beer and wine in Hurghada was next to Papas Bar in Downtown but haven't been there for couple of years. I think Richard uses them to supply the pub in El Gouna.

Its hard to beat proper Denny Pork sausages.

That wine is very cheap (by Egypt prices), I'll definitely have to give it a go.

Apparently the owners German husband of the Vietnamese Restaurant at the marina runs the winery and brewery.

I was trying to find Elly's blog to pass on to someone interested in sailing around the world. I should have known to ask Queenie because she can find everything

They are a lovely couple, as are Katie and Dougie. It is great to live in El Gouna and meet all the yachties who pass through our marina. Most of them spend the winter in El Gouna because of the climate and then they move to the Med for the summer. Others have come from Thailand, even New Zealand. They all have wonderful tales to tell. One family have been sailing for three years with three kids and a dog. The kids are home schooled on the yacht.
