Thank you Linda, Do you know if anyone else is going over to egypt the same times as us? This may seem a daft question but what sort of things do a womens group do?

Hi Dawn - the Sharm Womens group have set up a website which helps others - eg for sale section, help with services, gyms etc.

They meet once a month for a meeting and then they normally have a meal and social evening together afterwards. Great way for expats to make new friends. They also promote things like street dogs, protecting the environment, help out at local schools with Xmas bazaars and fetes etc. The same sort of thing as if you were on a community residents committee or school committee in the UK. They also meet up for things like yoga, gym etc and share each others experiances with services such as hairdressers, nail technicians, beauty therapists, schools, babysitters etc.

how are you today, the womens group runs monthly, i wont be there all the time either, but if its on when i go i will go its nice to meet others, i belong to womens groups in other parts of africa and see them whenever i am in their country and there is something on, people or should i also say women it seems to me are always glad to see faces that they know and new faces too.
