It is always worth going to the Egyptair desk on arrival before getting a taxi to see how much the flight is to Hurghada with them. Their flight prices are really good and have had booked loads at around £30 each return.

Thanks for the flight prices on 15th Aug - only thing is the cheaper ones seem to be for one week only... I am looking for 2 weeks this time as taking shauns family with us for their summer holiday!!!!! Typical eh - if it was just me and shaun i wouldnt be tied to kids holidays and we could prob go for half the price!

If packages are cheaper than 'flight only', why would anyone want to rent an apartment/villa ?. Destinations that are dependent on air accessabilty are going to have a thin time of it. Looking at air fares quoted on here one does question the economic viability of buying propety here. e.g. a family of 4 could fly to the Algarve for the price of one ticket to Egypt.
