Default Reputable estate agent in Goa

Hi all,

I would like to know of a reputable estate agent in Goa to discuss buying a 3 bed roomed house there near sea.
Or does anyone know any sellers?
Also would like to know everything there is to know about moving to Goa India(from Netherlands) with my partner.
Does anyone know if there is any work there. Will look into anything worthwhile.
Also thinking of doing alternative healing there(Reiki, reflexology,Moxa)and giving massages.
Is there a market for this?

Thanks

Hi Reece

You might try Goa Property Services in Calangute Goa. This company is run by an English guy called Steven Wood. They deal in brand new properties as well as resale. We are currently buying an apartment in Goa and have found him and his staff to be very friendly, courteous and informative.

Regards

I have been to Goa a number of times, and simply love the Candolim / Baga area. There is definitely a market for alternate healing. If you ever do start Reiki or massages, tell me and I will pop right in as a happy customer

We shortlisted a good (by Goa standards) 2 room apartment with a partial sea view from these guys Goa RealEstate: Home - they seem professional, unlike most shady dealers. http://www.findaproperty.com/ also gave us interesting results, but quotes were a bit pricey or construction quality was not good.

Oh yes, if you buy a villa with a large pool, you can also give water therapy / massages in the pool I am in India at the moment, and if you are around, give me a shout !

Cheers !

Hi reece,

Goa is really a good place u are thinking abt. Pune is also a gud option for you. As far as the question of agents is there I have a very good solution for you. You simply take help from some online real estate forum based on indian real estate industry. There u will be able to find out more ideas and suggestions as per you need as well as u can place your query over there where all the agents, realtors and other knowledgable community is there to answer your queries.

regads,
Adi

Hi Reece, did you buy in Goa eventually? I am interested in Goa myself for purchasing holiday home and would be grateful of any advice you could give from your experience.

This site offers the equivalent to an estate agent in the UK. ie
Sales and long term letting services in Goa.

If you are toying with the idea of purchasing a property in Goa,
have a look through the Reasons 2 buy and Press Reports pages on
the site and indeed any other site. It is definitely a good time
to buy.

Default Real Estate Agents in Goa

After discovering that everyone from the taxi driver to room service boy at the hotel was a real estate agent in Goa - and a couple of bad experiences that folowed - I found a professional company "Realty Goa" who have a huge number of properties listed with them and helped me buy a beautiful villa in Assagao near Anjuna. They have a pretty comprehensive website which may be worth checking out.
