Default Relocating to Bangalore: accommodation required

Hi all,

We are planning to relocate to Bangalore and take up residence in one of the following areas:

1. Near Dommasandara Circle (Whitefield - Sarjapur Road).
2. Kodigehalli Main Rd (Sahakar Nagar).
3. Billapura Cross (Sarjapur).

We are narrowing down to these places in order to be close to the school where our child gets admission.

I am wondering what the rent for a decent 1 bedroom-hall-kitchen flat in the vicinity of these schools might be? Also, what is the electricity (loadshedding) and drinking-water position out here?
Any inputs on my request shall be highly appreciated!
Cheers

Default Relocating to Bangalore

you may also want to check out the area near the new Bangalore Airport, Yellanka. It is easily accessible to Whitefield (Palm Meadows) too.

The International School Bangalore, Mastery International School Bangalore, Canadian School, and Indus are all schools for international students. I would suggest the Mastery International School. They open in August and will be the only school for people relocating to bangalore, that is ran by other internationals. Great presentation of the school was given last week.

Also check out yahoo groups and register with the bangalore expats and owc groups. everything you want to ask will be answered there expeditiously. it is solely dedicated to expats who have relocated, planning on relocating, or have returned home after relocating to bangalore.

good luck, i am sure we will meet, our family is very active in all the above mentioned groups and organizations.

check out a company - global adjustments they are the resident experts on relocating to bangalore.

hope that is not too much

Default Help you to find a place in B'lore

Hi Bharat,

I'm Daniel based in Chennai and we are in the field of real estates for the past 20 years its me and my Dad. We extend our expertise in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerela and Andhra. Now that you mentioned Bangalore I can help you find a place, easily commutable to schools, shopping malls. Now can you give me your requirements.

Where are you based at the moment?
When are you looking to relocate or rather how soon?
What is that you are looking for a Flat or a Independent house?
How many bed room flat, how many squarefeet?
If independent land are you looking to buy it or lease it or rent it, even in case of flat?
Are you an Indian or NRI or Foriegn National?
What is your budget?
Are you looking at fully furnished flats or are just a flat that is under construction at the moment?
Are you looking at a space for parking?
Do you have any other requirements that I forgot to mention as well?

These questions will narrow down my search for a property for you and help me to offer the best advice?

Now once you answer all these questions let me know when you'll be free for a site visit and i'll make arrangements?

I'll be open with you once I get all this in place you'll need to pay me a finding fees which will include my travel for the entire day and that's not much it will cost 3000 rupees and promise success to you, in finding the best property.

What I will do is i'll get 5 to 10 properties that you could visit on that day take pics of them and also witness all the details of the property you see and get the best out of it.

Please Note:

The rates can vary from 3000 Rupees per sq.ft up to 8500 Rupees per sq. feet probably even more than that. It all depends on your requirement.

Hope this will help.

You drop me an email with all the answers and your requirements to danielusah@yahoo.com.

Many Thanks

Daniel

Today, a two-bed room apartment in the outskirts of Bangalore will cost you nothing less than Rs 1500 per square feet. A 1200 square feet site will cost anywhere between Rs 650-Rs 1500 per square feet compared to Rs 150-350 in 2002. And the outskirts defined here are places beyond Devanahalli, Whitefield, Sarjapur, Electronic City, Hoskote, Kanakpura, Kengeri, Bannerghatta and even further, which are a good 25-50 kilometers away from the city. Appreciation in price has been almost 70 per cent in residential apartments, and land values have gone up by over 100 per cent in some cases .....

Default Property in Bangalore - close to Dommasandra

Hi Bharat,

I have a 2 bhk beautiful bungalow for rent in a gated community close to Dommasandra. The roads have recently been upgraded and the approach road from Dommasandra is very very good. Pollution level is low since the property is situated well away from the road, 24 hour water supply is available and all other amenities are available.

PS : It is close to the international school Bangalore

Let me know if you still havent yet found a place.
