Hello sht,

Thanks for the MOU, as I thougth al-attar wants us to accept the delay in writting without them paying any compensation.

shy, did you sign the MOU?

if we re-draft the MOU and add the compensation clause in would al-attar accept it !!

Hi M.B

I didn't sign this MOU. I think instead of selling our properties, all of P3 buyers should unit and make pressure on Alattar to accept the modified MOU.

Red face

IF The present International City Project is any thing to go on I would not sink any money at all into IC 3.

We were promised shops, schools, post office, medical facilities a large shopping complex /entertainment area called " The Forbidden City"

Instead after delay and delay we have high Service charges, virtually no greenry, no Forbidden City, just a pile of dirt, no shops except in Dragon Mart. There will be a shortage of parking spaces in future as no planning for parking at all for all the shops at the bottom of the buildings.

To avoid future disappointment's then steer well clear of any thing Nakheel is involved in . They just can not deliver what they promise.

Yes & I agree with Laguna33. Its true that many master developments specially from Nakheel have really bad reputation for unusual delays.
If I had to invest in international city phase 3, i would first do a little research on current status of phase 1 & than decide if its feasible for me to go ahead for phase 3 or not.

As a matter of fact, in intl city ph-3, 96% of investors are from over seas based & they made their investments for residence visa & cheap property.

Its just a mater of right knowledge about the right investment option at the right time.

Most developers in dubai have in their contracts that if there is a delay of 6mths or more, they will pay you compensation/interest. If the plan is to earn income from day1 on completion at the date specied by the developer, then a lot of people will be disappointed. My studio in the UK has been empty for 4 mths, i cant find anyone interested to rent it.
But as you say, they can do a lot more to improve their customer relations.

Hi, all
Does anyone have any information on phase 3 international city? I have paid 50 % on a studio in Global garden view. I have tried to contact the developer but they never reply to e-mails. Do you have any idea when building work will commence?
