Got my letter from zero4. No surprises.
At least the currency movements have made the final payment cheaper for me.

It would be useful to have an agent to deal with the handover and rental.
BetterHomes do it, but they never seem to reply to emails!

Hi i am also in S17 with July as handover, i think there are many on this thread who have apartment in S17. We should check on the final payment details and charges. About the smell, i have walked through the entire site.
No smell in this area. The morocco, persia are close to the wastage processing set up. spain , italy and england are really in the front which is an advantage. Husain

For those of you being managed by zero4,

I have discovered, after some questioning, that zero4 have
set-up a handover service for those not able to be in Dubai to
collect the keys.

For AED5,000 they will do the taking over of the apartment, snagging, setting up DEWA etc

You have to give a Power of Attorney to them.

Reply from Zero4 when I asked them
1) Why were they making us pay the land registration before handover when this isn't a requirement from Nakheel.

2) Why they were charing 3000AED administration charge when other companies are charging 2000AED.

"This is to brief you on your queries that you have first of all regarding registration fees it is not our demand this is come from Nakheel itself to recover all the registration fees before hand over of the apartment.

Secondly as far as Admini. fees is concerned yes it is AED 3000 which Nakheel and the building owner has charged each client for all the paper work and translation of documents plus the assistance that they are going to provide to all the clients on handover."

Anyone contacted Nakheel yet to see what they say charges should be?

Default International City - Spain Cluster

Hi all, last year I purchased 1 B/R apartment in ‘ICI-SPA-S2’ building, in the Spain Cluster of IC. At that time, I was told that the completion will be by the end of December 2006. Since then I have neither received any news of the completion nor handing-over of apt. from the agent. I have already paid all the installments, except the one to be paid at the time of handing-over. Does anyone else has purchased apt. in the same Building ? Or any information on the completion date of “Spain” cluster ?
