I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM AL-ATTAR ONE MONTH AGO?!

Here are the answers for all the question you wrote as per our Project
Manager.

1. The construction date for Toronto? We are on the process of getting
N.O.C
and it will start by 1st quarter of 2008.
2. The Anticipating date for finishing Toronto Tower? End of 2009.

Default Memorandum of agreement(Al Attar Properties)

Just received this 'memordanum of agreement' contract for my apt at Global Point. There doesn't seem to be any advantage to me in signing such an agreement. It reminds me that i reserved on 3 May 2005 and still not much sign of building works nearly 3 years later. Should i just ignore signing it.
Also are other buyers sticking with this project or selling.Does it still look a good investment?

Default Mou

Just received my MOU a few weeks ago. I enquired to the validity of pursuing Al Attar for any compensation based on the Reservation Agreement, which I assume is the only conract most people have. Unfortunately there is very little in way of using this as compensation so I signed the MOU and sent it back. My contact who advised me on this matter is involved in the construction industry for another firm. I'm not defending Al Attar but my friend informed me that the blame lies with Nakheel(being the master developer) in delaying the land handover to Al Attar to begin construction. I just hope Al Attar make faster progress than that shown so far as these developments look high quality and better than most around Intl City. I'm sticking with this as the value of most property in Dubai are continue to rocket.....unlike the current state in the UK where I've just managed to knock 50K off the asking price of a flat initially priced at 305k!

In total agreement with this guy. I did sign my MOU last year too, merely on this ground (no better alternative).
Thanks.

I have a 1BR in Vancouver Tower .. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about any progress to date (other than the fencing lol)?

Very slow progress indeed .. Regret the decision to invest in this project, however as many others ... must bite the bullet i guess

Forgot to mention that I'm glad I invested elsewhere, after the Vancouver Investment. The building is almost complete and and I'm sitting on over 40% profit and have been offered to be broughtout before completion.
