I've also asked you on another thread whether you can say if a residence visa is required to get the DEWA account in your name.If so then I don't know how I will get my keys!
Hey, water is NOT connected. And you HAVE to get water connected to find leaks in the plumbing, because the maintenance guy told me ALL the new flats have leaks which cannot be found until water is running. Can't say about residence visa, but I did hand in a passport copy. Maybe your agent could do something if you don't plan to live here.

Has anyone had handover in persia N2? As far as I know, the only factor causing the delay is the joint building owner who is in Singapore and cannot be bothered to get the papers signed. Gowealthy are trying to get a power of attorney from him or her. Anyone with more info?

Just discovered thet 90% of Persia buildings have been handed over to thier owners, the few remaining buildings have delayed due to building owners, including mine. EVERYTHING depends who your building owner is, not your agent and not Nakheel.

Hi all.
I have an apartment in Persia N8 and am still awaiting a handover date.
Anyone else in the same situation?
Went out in Feb but it didn't look like anytime soon.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi All,
I have an apartment in Persia N10 with MBC Realty. After much prodding, I found out that the buildings that haven't been handed over are due to the Bldg owners not making the payments. Nakheel has told me that the payment amount was told to all Bldg Owners 6 months before handover . Seems like we are stuck with shabby Bldg Owners. Currently MBC realty has to submit to Nakheel how many flats are sold & how many unsold & then Nakheel will decide on the final handover amount ( unsold ones don't have PSA) , bldg owner has to pay & then Nakheel hands the keys. Nakheel has told us that they cleaned the bldg 1 month ago for the handover & even they are tired of the bldg owners who are not doing their bit.

a***ta, if i had known that each building would have a different owner then I would never have bought in IC, this is silly, it's like we are renting from the building owner, and if you have a bad building owner then you're stuck....

Yes, I have complained to Nakheel that those who have bad bldg owners are stuck & I have asked them to consider on further developments that Nahkeel themselves handover buildings. Anyway the Nakheel handover office says that they are pushing all bldg owners in Persia to complete the procedures because they want to start other clusters handover. Well if you are brave to invest again in Dubai...at least u know whom u shouldn't deal with !!

Default typo error

there is a typographical error in what i wrote above.I want to correct it.
I wanted to say that the building owner is not passing every buck to the unit owner.Nakheels clearly specifies the amount from building owner and unit owner.Only that is being collected from unit owner;atleast thats what we have done.(from the posts above i can see there are other building owners who collects far more than that). If any body requires the proof for the above i can give you reciepts of both the payments, viz payment by building owner for building charges and payment for unit charges, issued seperately by Nakheel itself so that unit charges reciept can be reimbersed from the unit owners.
