We're hearing some signs of action - our building owner has said they'll be getting their key today. They need to arrange water + elec connections, and say they'll be handing over our keys next Sunday. Anyone else heard anything?

Default possession of persia

Hi Everyone,
Let me share a good news about persia handing over. Today I got a call from my agent that they have got the keys from Nakheel. And In two days Dewa Connection will be their & from tommorrow they will start Issuing letter of possession to respected buyers. I will be going to Dubai on 9th. february to take the possession of my 1 bed room apt.And for me its a new task to search a proper propery management co. to rent out the apt. what i expect is 50,000 aed per year from which 5% property mang. commission will be deducted sounds reasonable.

Best of Luck to All

shuiab

If you dont mind me asking but which hotel will you be staying at. The reason I ask is that I dont know dubai that well so want a reputable but cheap hotel to stay at when I collect the keys for my apartment (spanish cluster).

Red face rental price

Shuaib check the local news paper gulf news Prices being asked for 1 bedroom are now as high as 62,000 AED with many advertised at 60,000 AED and most 55,000 and above.

Your property at 50,000 AED rent will get snapped up. I would suggest a higher rent than 50K as you will be unable to increase your rent for 2 years due to the rent law that has been recently ratified here.
